A Premium CrossFit Facility

We are a family run and owned CrossFit fitness facility and home of Bidford on Avon CrossFit, we are a community of like minded individuals, who have a common goal to have fun and train together. We have created a supportive and friendly environment and have a strong inclusive philosophy so everyone is welcome, regardless of age, size or ability, we can scale and adapt workouts so everyone can train together.

In general our members are professionals who work hard and want to carry that hard working mindset into there training. Our members may have differing goals but our philosophy is the same ‘work hard get results’

Our coaches are extremely passionate about teaching and passing on our knowledge to others, which is a combination that will see a fitter, stronger and healthier you. We are a real family gym and we welcome (well behaved) children to come along and watch while you train, we have a fully stocked shop with snacks and drinks and also a tv with Netflix, You tube etc to keep the children entertained while you get your you time.

PHILIP BLUNDALL

I have a passion for health & fitness, i am always keen to help people make a difference, whether it is celebrating members first pull up or snatch pb, they are all exciting to me. I am a positive person and will convey this into each class. As a former Royal Marine i have worked in all conditions and with over a decade in the strength, conditioning and fitness industry i have the ability to bring out the best in any situation with anyone.

My favourite CrossFit movement is definitely a heavy back squat and my worst is a pistol (single legged squat). My favourite food has to be potatoes in any form!

BEN EDWIN

CROSSFIT LEVEL 1, GYM INSTRUCTOR LEVEL 2

I have been training CrossFit for 8 years now and have been coach part time for the last couple of years. Some say i’m the class clown but behind all that i am dedicated and truly believe in the CrossFit methodology. It has helped me develop a whole new approach to life in general and im so much happier because of it. This is why i want to coach and help others experience the CrossFit journey.

My favourite movement is snatch, my least favourite is burpees over the bar and my favourite food is my mother in laws Christmas cake.

STEPH BLUNDALL

CROSSFIT LEVEL 1 & 2, CROSSFIT KIDS

I joined my first CrossFit class in 2014 and i haven’t looked back since, it gives such a variety of training that as a member and as a coach you can never get bored with. I started coaching in 2018 and i am so passionate about helping to keep our local community fit and healthy. Having 4 children and a grandchild i really know the importance of keeping our children active. I believe if we can install fitness and nutrition habits into children they will continue and thrive as adults.

My favourite CrossFit movements is either double unders or handstand press ups (too many to choose) my least favourite has to be snatch. My favourite food is definitely chocolate!

LYDIA HICKIN 

I joined as a member at Iron Mind in 2019 and i instantly fell in love with CrossFit and the community it provided. Over the years i have realised i enjoy helping others on their journey and joined the team as a trainee coach. I am looking forward to completing my CrossFit level 1 to support my coaching and broaden my knowledge.

My favourite CrossFit movements are Clean and my worst has to be thrusters. My favourite food is Nocco (not technically food but i love them).
